We make a Difference in your lives

Clogher Valley care has been providing health and social care for service users in their own homes since 1996. Our aim is to provide a high standard of quality care with the needs and preferences of our service users at the heart of our philosophy. Our service is based around person centred values where the individuals own choices and decisions are fully respected and their independence is retained as much as possible.

Our Services

Personal Care

Assisting service users with:

  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Dressing/Undressing
  • Toileting and continence care
  • Moving and handling
  • Assistance in and out of bed
  • Eating and drinking
  • Medication Assistance

Practical Support

Assistance with:

  • Laundry
  • Making or changing beds
  • Company and social visits
  • Washing dishes
  • Meal and snack preparation
  • Brushing floors, vacuuming and light dusting

We also offer sitting services:

Day Sitting

This is a supervisory service with some elements of personal care and support.

Night Sitting

This is a monitoring service, care workers will be awake throughout the period of duty and will attend to personal care and practical needs during the night as well as ensuring that service user’s are left comfortable on leaving each morning.

Caring & Support

A Social Worker from the Trust will assess the level of care you require and will tailor a package of care in line with your needs.

We are also able to provide services on a private basis or through Direct Payment.

If you find short falls in your current package of care provided from the Trust or find that you are not happy with the present care you have, additional services can be purchased directly from Clogher Valley Care Ltd.

Or if you don’t qualify for support from the Trust and require a service for you or your loved ones please contact our office where we will be glad to assist you.

Our team

All our team are registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council and are guided by their standards of conduct and practice.

They are regularly trained in a range of care tasks including Manual Handling and Medication administration.

All employees have to complete a satisfactory criminal record check prior to employment. (Access NI).

We are registered with the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) who oversee quality standards for Health and Social care providers in Northern Ireland.

Working With Us

Care work is a challenging but rewarding job where you can make a big difference to the lives of people in their own homes.

If you are interested in joining our team you will need to have:

  • Good communication skills both written and spoken
  • A caring nature
  • A full clean driving licence and access to a car
  • Mobile phone
  • Satisfactory criminal check (Access NI)
  • 2 satisfactory references
  • A care qualification or working towards one is desirable but not essential as you will be fully trained.
